2009 not so fine

I'm not so sure I like 2009. We have had A LOT of crap happen in 2009 and it's only February. Here are just a few things going on:

1-- Danny, Jason's step-father, had to have a quadrupal bypass
2--Jason lost his job
3--Our good friend's father had a stroke and is in a coma
4--Taylor's post surgery recovery
5--My dearest friend is going through a divorce
6--Our Grandpa Workman thought he was having a stroke and had to go in for testing, including a spinal tap... He is okay, however it was a HUGE scare!
7--A friend of mine miscarried
8--My 2 year old nephew had to have surgery on his throat
9--The Cardinals lost the superbowl. :(

Dang! I'm feeling ya on the 2009 thing! That sucks about Jasons job! Boooo! This economy needs to stop it already! And way scary about Danny AND Grandpa Workman.:( My Grandma on the other side was in the hospital that same weekend. Sheesh. Talk about emotional roller coaster.

Here's to hoping that 2009 will start looking up!!

It has been a rough year already! Things better start looking up! Give those babies kisses for us!

(so I just realized we can't really call Grady a baby anymore...sad)

That is alot for only being like 6 weeks into the year! I'm so sorry for your hardships. My husband is out of work right now as well--not fun when you are almost done building a house. I guess we like to do everything backwards!! I only hope that all of these struggles that we are enduring will mold us into incredible people one day.
